Job Description Summary:
We are looking for a WTG Package Manager willing to join us and collaborate on our offshore projects. The WTG Package Manager will lead the management of the technical and commercial aspects related to the WTGs of the offshore wind projects to secure CfD, financial close, construction and handover to operations. Main Accountabilities
Managing and leading the WTG package through different stages of development, including coordination of meetings, communication exchanges and stakeholder management across different disciplines. Leading WTG supplier procurement, including the development of procurement strategies, drafting technical specifications and documentation, engagement and relationship building with supply chain, engineering, delivery and execution timelines and contract negotiations. Anticipating, identifying and managing risks related to the WTG package. Participating in WTG-related technical due diligence activities on all relevant disciplines (next generation and current designs, engineering, certification, delivery, installation, commissioning, operation, etc.). Optimizing the business case and providing input to the financial model including risk, yield, CAPEX and OPEX budget. Participating in writing and negotiation of early works engineering contracts if any, of budgets (DEVEX, CAPEX, OPEX). Managing proactively schedule, budgets, resources, risks and opportunities for projects. Required Education and Professional Experience
Degree educated or above, or professional qualification, in a STEM+F discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Finance). Proven pedigree in negotiating and executing TSA agreements and significant experience in the installation and commissioning of WTG's. Exposure to managing high-value construction projects, including direct experience of large-scale wind farm construction projects preferably in an offshore environment. Knowledge of HSE legislation associated with offshore construction projects. Experience of managing quality systems within an offshore wind project. Ability to manage contractors, including commercial and technical aspects, scheduling and co-ordination of activities. Languages: Fluent in English and Italian. Proactive, assertive, and action-oriented leadership style, with strong intellectual agility. Team player, high level of responsibility and self-organization/autonomy. Ability to be effective in cross-cultural teams. Status to work in the European Union. Location: Roma
