Workplace, Health and Safety (WHS) Senior ManagerHere at Amazon, we are currently looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join the team and play a critical role in managing the health and safety within the Amazon Fulfillment Center (FC).
The successful candidate will identify, coordinate, and drive improvements in inbound safety, quality, and productivity, working with the Operations Management teams to continuously improve the functionality and level of service that the Fulfillment Center provides to our customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage your team on-site, whilst regularly collaborating with other teams across the company.Use internal reporting tools to analyze data reports and root causes that provide leadership with the information they need to make safety-related decisions.Provide guidance and arrangements for health and safety projects and policies.Drive programs designed to improve the safety culture in Amazon.A day in the life: This is an extremely varied role based at one of our sites, allowing you to directly contribute to many aspects of our safety culture.
You will manage health and safety standards while improving functionality and efficiency.
You'll also manage your team and help them implement changes in response to employee feedback or seize opportunities to continuously make process improvements.
Your role is instrumental in keeping employees safe, managing their satisfaction, and supervising their well-being and productivity.
You'll step in and take ownership of health and safety to foster a culture that revolves around operating safely.
