Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international trading house looking to hire a Wheat Bran Trader to join the millers by product division in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks Execute strategic trades of wheat bran and other millers by products to optimise profitability, whilst managing positions and taking actions to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities. Utilise existing network to maintain and expand the client base, providing exceptional service by understanding client needs and ensuring timely execution. Develop and implement risk management strategies, monitor and analyse risk exposure, adjusting strategies for a balanced portfolio. Develop, update, and communicate market intelligence, including reports on key indicators such as prices, stocks, and market sentiment. Role reports to Head of Millers By Product Division. Key Qualifications / Experience Proven experience as a wheat bran trader with a transferable book of business. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field (advanced degree is a plus). Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a deep understanding of commodity markets. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining client relationships. Proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous. Must be located in Cape Town.
