PositionThe resource, placed in the Manufacturing function and reporting directly to the Department Manager, is in charge of metal welding, in order to realise unique and customised solutions in the field of naval kitchens.
Specifically, his responsibilities will be:
Analysing upstream the assembly drawing of the various componentsCheck that all components match each other in type and size before starting assembly work;Join the sheet metal and stainless steel tube components together by spot welding, checking their final measurements, and carry out TIG welding with and without filler;Promptly highlight any problems that may generate a delivery delay;Devise the best solutions where critical issues arise, possibly without having the components reproduced, adapting the components with skilful craftsmanship and the available equipment;Hammering out all necessary welding areas;RequirementsAt least 2 years experience in TIG, MIG, torch welding on stainless steel.Knowledge of technical drawing;Welding licence will be considered a plus;Other informationSomec Group is committed to promoting, cultivating and preserving a culture marked by diversity and inclusion in its workforce.
