**What is our goal?**
Learning programming isn't easy, and most of us did it the hard way. Our goal is to help students avoid common mistakes, accelerate their learning process, and help them land jobs. We are looking for an experienced web developer to mentor our students and help them become professional developers.
**Requirements**:
- Proficient level of Spanish and English.
- 2+ years of work experience as a full-stack web developer.
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, React, Webpack, Node.js, and Express.js.
- Readiness to dedicate at least 12-15 hours a week to your students.
What you will do:
**Instructors** are _masters of theory_ who help our students with platforms, theoretical basis and exercises.
As an instructor, your **mission** is to help students resolve all doubts about the content of the program and deal with the exercises and projects. You will be able to assist students through **Discord in written and voice channels** and during **Q&A sessions**.
You will lead a cohort of students through a 10-month program while sharing your experience and inspiring them with your industry knowledge. You will help students in the following forms:
**Main tasks related to students**:
- ** Answer written students question in the #platform channels per sprint** during the set time slots for all cohorts.
- ** Assist students in the Co-learning space**, this is a voice channel per profession that available for students from all cohorts of the same region where they can discuss together, share screen and solve doubts orally.
- Hold once a week the **Q&A session** for your cohort based on the students questions that they can submit in advance.
**Also**:
- Moderate the **Co-learning space** (Voice Channel) with students from all cohorts.
- ** Keep your cohort active** in the community channel: often post some interesting article, challenge, quizes, game, etc.
- Check students feedback periodically to implement improvements
- ** Analyze weekly students report of progress** shared by the Community manager in order to decide Q&A topics and define action plans in the cohortmeetings.
- ** Participate in your cohort events (**Pre-boarding meeting, Orientation/onboarding meeting, Marathons, Code quizzes, Graduation meeting)
