This role requires a highly collaborative, proactive and organised individual, who is fluent in both Italian and English who can multi-task effectively.RESPONSIBILITIESProvide executive support to multiple senior Managing Directors, Vice Presidents, and team membersProactive diary management of complex calendars across multiple time zonesArrange internal and external meetings and all logistics – booking of conference rooms, guest registration, ensuring materials are organizedArrange travel; organize and provide detailed travel schedules and process related expenses in a timely mannerAdhering to Compliance regulations and gaining the relevant approvalsGeneral team admin including phone answering and relaying messages, photocopying/scanning/printing, participation in ad-hoc projects, and planning team eventsRegularly facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and ensure relevant information is disseminated accordinglyAct as an integral member of the team; maintaining a high level of awareness of current priorities and support requiredFlexibility to support assistant colleagues and cover when necessaryREQUIRED SKILLSFluent in both Italian and EnglishPrior experience as an assistant – preferably 3 years and ideally from a banking, financial services backgroundTeam player with a positive "can do" attitudeExcellent interpersonal and communication skills - ability to display a consistent, professional degree of communicationStrong attention to detailProactivity with excellent organisational and problem solving skills - ability to take initiative, follow up where necessary without prompting and seek clarification when neededAbility to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven environmentDemonstrates high degree of integrity and recognises the need for confidentialityComfortable working with people at all levels across the organisationStrong proficiency in MS OutlookABOUT GOLDMAN SACHSAt Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
