As Logistics & Operations Intern, reporting to the WCM Plant Coordinator, you will have the task of supporting the WCM program execution in our plant. Furthermore, you will support the activities of production and logistics in daily and medium-term projects.
Your main responsibilities will include: Standardizing activities and workflows by producing Standard Operating Procedure, One Point Lesson, Standard Maintenance Procedure and spreading Knowledge at all the levels of the organization.Continuously monitoring Plant KPIs.Coordinating the morning meetings in production (Gemba Meeting).Supporting the identification and management of logistics flows.Supporting in planning, delivering and checking continuous improvement activities (Kaizens) after root cause analysis sessions.Helping the whole organization in a WCM Audit preparation.Knowledge growth opportunities: Wide training on Lean / WCM methods with specific focus on production and logistics, by living in a silver plant.Hands-on approach with challenging and interesting tasks during the internship period.Possibility of working in a team in a multinational company with great external visibility.As an ideal candidate, you have a master's degree in the Engineering domain and have strong Italian and English language skills. You have a pragmatic and initiative spirit, organizational and planning skills, ability to work in a team and to engage and mobilize the wider organization.
You have been exposed also to Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM. You are well introduced to MS Office and have at least basic knowledge of industrial processes.
