Your New Role...
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Streaming Editorial, the Streaming Editor is responsible for the editorialisation of our sports streaming content across our premium platforms, managing imagery, titles and descriptions to deliver a first-class user experience.
The Streaming Editor is responsible for metadata on our English-language platforms and operates part of a wider network of streaming editors in multiple regions who work closely together.
In this role, you will work on some of the biggest events in sport, with tennis Grand Slams, cycling Grand Tours and the Olympics all part of our premium offering to users.
You will work in close liason with scheduling, programming and merchandising teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of editorial for live, VOD and highlight content.
This is a full time position as part of an editorial team covering live sport, operating on a shift pattern which covers evenings and weekends.
This is a fixed term contract from 1st July 2024 until 30 June 2025.
Your Role Responsibilities...
Ensuring we have clean and accurate titles and descriptions on all our premium sports content for English-language platforms Updating imagery on key assets as live sport progresses Quality checks on content which saves as VOD Liaising with scheduling and broadcast teams to ensure users have accurate and up to date programme information Liasing with merchandising team to ensure assets have most engaging presentation Incident reporting and monitoring Qualifications and Experience... Strong attention to detail is a must, along with the ability to produce clean copy A passion for and knowledge of sport is essential Confident working in a fast-paced environment How We Get Things Done… This last bit is probably the most important!
