Warranty Contract ManagerThe Warranty Contract Manager will work closely with the supplier recovery segment leader and purchasing to evaluate and prepare the appropriate warranty agreement to cover supplier operations, to review current terms and conditions in order to maximize the recovery rate, and to discuss best warranty method strategy for current agreements.TasksThe contract manager is the lead of all warranty agreement negotiations with the suppliers.
He/She will be responsible to prepare warranty agreement drafts and keep the database in the SAP system updated according to the progress of the negotiation.
Will also review policies and legal terms with our warranty and legal departments to ensure we are meeting our legal obligations.
Will develop and revise, as necessary, all standard contract documentation and will be responsible for preparing a roadmap for new agreements to be signed and current contracts to be reviewedThe Warranty Contract Manager will be the supplier warranty policy expert and will deliver training courses/support to suppliers and buyers tosupport the usage of current warranty systems.
Draft warranty agreements to be negotiated with suppliers Lead warranty agreement negotiations and be escalation point for disputes regarding contract terms and interpretation Review and propose changes on current agreements (method and terms and conditions) Set targets for agreements to be signed and current contracts to be renegotiated Deliver support and training to suppliers and internal team about supplier warranty tools and policies Ensure that all contracts and agreements are filed in the contract repository, and maintain and update contract databases and disseminate information as appropriate Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status and modification.
SkillsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Mechanical Sciences Solid experience in contract management OR warranty OR procurement OR supplier recovery OR supplier engineering/quality OR Associates in related field Demonstrated experience in negotiationData analysis using Excel, strong proficiency in Word, Outlook and Power Point High English language knowledge (preferable one additional language:
French or German) Experience working with a variety of contact types (i.e.
preparing, reviewing, and negotiating).
Have exceptional attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills.
