Responsibilities: Organize and lead the cycle count team to conduct scheduled counts of designated items and locations according to established schedules.
Identify and investigate discrepancies in inventory, making necessary adjustments and documenting findings to improve accuracy and reduce errors.
Regularly communicate with Warehouse Supervisors to report inventory issues, count progress, and completion of assigned cycle counts.
Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and recommend changes to enhance inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
Provide guidance and training to cycle count team members to ensure they understand procedures, safety protocols, and best practices in inventory management.
Monitor the accuracy of counts and compliance with inventory control processes to ensure data integrity.
Ensure all cycle count data is accurately documented and promptly entered into the inventory management system; generate reports as needed for management.
Promote and enforce a safe work environment, adhering to all company policies and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or relevant technical certification is a plus.
2+ years in warehouse operations, inventory management, or cycle counting, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
Familiarity with EWM/ERP systems and warehouse management software (WMS); proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory.
Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with both the cycle count team and supervisory staff.
Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team, set priorities, and manage workflows to meet deadlines.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed; comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
