DescriptionSUMMARY: The Warehouse Associate must be a team player who will be responsible for the accurate movement of parts and equipment into and out of the Distribution Center following set DL Parts policies and procedures.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:Loading/unloading trucks, order picking, wrapping products, packing, labeling, shipping and receivingReceiving merchandise, ensuring quantity on orders is correct, and verifying inventory records through check-in and receiving processDistributing items internally to assigned locations and individualsMaintaining accurate bin locations and inventory countsPreparing orders by pulling stock from assigned bin locations, ensuring quality control in the processPackaging finished product for shipping (boxing, shrink wrapping, labeling)Responsible for cleanliness and organization of work areasParticipating in physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying lossesOperate within Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with DL Company Policies and Handbook, including IT policiesOther duties and responsibilities as necessary for the business or as requested by ManagementRequirementsQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, as well as possess the following:Effective communicatorAttention to detailAbility to multitask and work well under pressureQuick learnerWorks well with others (team player)AccuracyExcellent follow-through (with customers workforce)Results-orientedReliability/Dependability/TrustworthyWork well with limited supervisionAbility to team-lift 100-150 poundsPeriodic mandatory overtimeEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of appliance parts and HVAC parts a plus.

Ability to read/listen to and comprehend simple- moderately difficult instructions, as well as understand complex, multi-step written or oral instructions.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Must be able to operate basic office and warehouse equipment such as scanner, computer, printer, calculator, fax machine, copier, etc.
