Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a dynamic, strategic thinking and results-oriented leader for the role of Vice President of Pharmacy Operations. Reporting to the Sr. Vice President, Chief Medical Officer and Chief Clinical Officer, this key and highly visible role is responsible for leading enterprise-wide strategic direction of all Devereux pharmacy operations and medication management services across the continuum of care and externally through strategic direction, oversight and decision making for pharmacy operations. Collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team, this role will bring an entrepreneurial leadership style to the role, ensuring successful growth in size and revenue of pharmacy operations. While putting people first and leading with moral authority, this leader will have oversight for all pharmacy staff and operations, establishing and reporting on key performance indicators, developing clinical and financial benchmarks and dashboards, meeting budgetary goals, and ensuring regulatory compliance and supply chain management.

Lead and direct enterprise-wide development and execution of best practice strategies for delivering operational and clinical pharmacy services to achieve high quality, cost-effective, efficient and cutting-edge outcomes;
Oversee the development and maintenance of a positive work environment designed to attract and retain a stable, progressive, caring and diverse workforce needed to ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective services;
Implement strategies to address changing markets and risk, and identify opportunities to enhance financial strength through financial and quality dashboards and external growth initiatives;
Focus on total-cost-of-care optimizing strategies;
Oversee the development and successful implementation of 340B programs as a contract pharmacy;
Ensure that all policies, practices and procedures comply with regulations governing the operating entities and the rules of accrediting bodies;
Collaborate with other Vice Presidents, Operations, Center leadership, and external parties to ensure efficiencies, effectiveness and high customer satisfaction ratings.

Qualifications:
Possess a PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy or an RPh with an MBA or MHA. Maintain an active pharmacy license in at least one state in which Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health operates (PA, NJ, NY, MA, CT, AZ, CA, RI, TX, FL, GA).
Minimum of five years' experience as a Director of Pharmacy in a long-term care setting.
Demonstrated success as a senior leader in a matrixed organization with an emphasis on contracting, relationship management and program development.
Experience implementing and/or using technology to improve patient/medication safety and enhance efficiency/productivity.
Proven success in driving and influencing key business results.
Demonstrated competence in strategy formulation and implementation. Demonstrated executive presence with superior communication, presentation and customer service skills.
Have created and operationalized financial management tools via dashboards and benchmarking data.
Have the demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop staff in a collaborative team environment.
Goal oriented, highly productive and committed to results within established processes and protocols.
Maintain excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Maintain software skills using MS Office, proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel, some knowledge of MS Access, knowledge of pharmacy IS systems, automated medication dispensing systems, physician order entry, bar coding applications and eMAR integration.
Must have strong administrative, programmatic and operational experience in a multi-site, multi-disciplinary long-term care environment.
