What your tasks will be: Operations Leadership: Develop and implement global strategies for supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing.
Oversee financial planning and operational budgeting to align with business objectives.
Drive operational efficiency and scalability to meet growth targets.
Supply Chain Management: Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and products.
Optimize logistics, inventory, and supplier relationships to enhance performance and reduce costs.
Procurement and Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring compliance with quality and sustainability standards.
Implement procurement strategies that align with Roboze's long-term objectives.
Manufacturing Excellence: Oversee global manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality production standards and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to integrate new technologies and methodologies.
Financial Planning and Analysis: Partner with the CFO and the General Manager to forecast and allocate resources effectively across operations.
Monitor operational performance against key financial metrics, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with sales, R&D, and marketing teams to ensure operations support business goals.
Align operational strategies with market demands and customer expectations.
Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
Establish clear KPIs and review processes to drive continuous improvement.
What we are looking for: Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Experience: 5+ years of proven experience managing global operations including supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing, preferably in deep tech scale-up where there are complex, high variability machines (e.g., aerospace and defense, rockets, urban air mobility, drones, etc.).
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite) and operational analytics.
Skills: Strong strategic thinking with a focus on aligning operations with business objectives.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership abilities.
Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process optimization.
Language Proficiency: Native speaker in Italian is required and advanced in English.
