At ING we are looking for a VP in Corporate Sector Lending – Wholesale Banking Your role and work environment: We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Vice President to join our Corporate Sector Lending Team that: feels at ease with figures and financial analysis pays attention to details and is driven by a search for quality in his/her work is interested and has experience in structuring and negotiating credits (incl. creative problem solving) with corporates or projects is ready to face challenges and can go the extra mile when needed enjoys working in a team and contributing to the team results enjoys client contacts enjoys working in a learning environment likes to work in an agile, international and start-up environment Your key responsibilities: As a VP you will: be responsible for a suitable portfolio of complex corporate clients in all credit-related matters, with focus on origination and execution of new requests, but also taking responsibility for in life management structure and lead the negotiation of the credit facilities with the customer (in partnership with the relationship manager) and the follow up of the implementation/documentation of new credit facilities with other lending colleagues and/or in collaboration with inhouse Legal Department or external legal counsel. lead the origination and execution of complex / non-standard deals with support of other lending colleagues and advising teams such as Loan Distribution, Debt & Capital Advisory, Debt Capital Markets… be responsible for the preparation of credit packages according to ING policy and defend the credit request for approval to relevant approval mandate holders. acquire and keep up to date your knowledge on lending products, ING policies and also the general economic environment. reports to Italy's Head of Lending WB What are we looking for?
