Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 9 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
responsabilità
This position is an integral part of the Venues & Infrastructure (VNI) functional area and will support the team to deliver the project in line with the agreed milestones, project plans and budgets.
In particular, he/she will:
manage the overlay cost & contract planning and execution for a number of competition and non-competition venues, or for a number of commodities, based on the relevant delivery model;
assist in the preparation of MC26 overlay delivery information required for the procurement of professional services and overlay works, as well as scheduling / planning coordination, cost planning and site delivery / safety purposes;
support in the establishment and communication of overlay delivery processes, including change management, to MC26 suppliers and stakeholders;
be responsible for the full management of one or more VNI contract(s);
integrate and align the delivery of VNI projects using structured planning systems and processes;
manage the relationships with service providers / contractors to ensure efficient and effective delivery;
manage cross functional relationships to ensure effective communication and coordination;
assist the VNI reporting function ensuring that progress reports, schedules, risk management and the like are accurate, up to date and delivered on time;
be fully in control of the budget implications of any proposed design solutions and be aware of budget constraints.
provide support to the team to design to a budget;
share ideas and information with the team and contribute to the team environment;
be aware and comply with the Corporation's health and safety policies, standards practices and program.

Qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management;
excellent language skills in English, knowledge of one or several other Olympic movement official languages is an advantage;
IT-experienced, knowledge of usual office software and technical drawings software.
knowledge in the Overlay Cost & Contract management of major sporting venues;
knowledge and understanding of program and project management within a sports and major events environment, including cyclical planning requirements;
contract management role in a major event / construction / engineering environment;
qualification in Cost Management / Business Administration / Engineering;
