We are looking for a** Visual Designer** to join our office in **Trieste (Italy)**.
Your day-to-day activities include conceptualizing visuals based on requirements, creating images and layouts using design software as well as testing graphics across various media.
Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message.
For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design.
You will be required to come to the office, but there is the option to work remotely for several days per month.
The job term is a one-year fixed-term contract, then converted to permanent.
European citizenship is required.
**Your daily activities shall include**:
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
- Work with marketing and communication colleagues to produce final design
- Test graphics across various media
- Assist in marketing requests i.e.resizing images, providing digital and print assets
- Amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Coordinate with the UX team for web assets and look & feel
**What we need to see**:
- Bachelor degree, with a major in Graphic Design
- Minimum 3 year in a similar role
- Knowledge of graphic design fundamentals like typography, layout and colour theory
- Expert user of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Strong sense of aesthetics and attention to details
- Experience with file preparation for print and digital purposes
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, collaborative environment
- Strong interest in latest design trends, technology and social media
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
**Ways to stand out from the crowd (optional skills)**:
- Knowledge of video editing and motion graphics (Premiere/After Effects)
- Knowledge of Design Systems
