Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
The Olympic and Paralympic Villages are the heart of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, being the main home of athletes and primary team officials.
The Villages Services Coordinator position has the key role to support planning and operation of the Athletes Services within the 6 Olympic Villages and 3 Paralympic Villages.
Services fall under 3 main categories; the services delivered by the Partners, the Recreational Areas and the Fitness centers.
In addition, the Services Coordinator will be responsible for the planning and management of the perimeter operations, such as the coordination of the guest pass center and the Team Processing center.
Reporting to the Village Services Manager you will play a crucial role both in the planning and operational phases.
This position demands a highly organizedand detail-oriented individual, a team player capable of managing various aspects of very diverse services within the village or located offsite.
This role requires a proactive thinker able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, interact with multiple stakeholders and manage a dynamic and fast work environment.
The successful candidate will contribute to creating a positive and efficient environment for athletes, coaches, and other essential personnel participating in the Olympic Games.
He/She will: - Assist Village Services Manager with daily Village Services and assignments; - Assist and provide necessary coordination and supervision with the planning, scheduling, contracting and implementing of all village services, retail, recreational,fitness and Guest Pass Center; - Utilize 3D design software to design concept of the services spaces and plan the optimal allocation of spaces within the Olympic and Paralympic Villages, ensuring efficient use of available space; - Collaborate with marketing partners in the planning and delivery of their services as well as activate external third parties to operate unbranded services; - Work closely with facility management and VDO to plan and build suitable spaces for commercial and recreational services; - Assist with daily management reporting and final reporting as assigned; - Assist with the supervision of the Village Services volunteers during Games time; - Assist in every aspect of coordinating village services providers' pre and post-Games operational plans; - Receive questions from and provide information to village services providers; - Troubleshoot, problem solve and provide customer service; - Assist in the development of services related policies and procedures; - Provide Management shift coverage during the operations of the Games; - Attend meetings, producereports and compile data for the Village, as assigned; - Perform any other duties as deemed necessary or as directed.
- Bachelor's degree in related field; - Knowledge of AutoCAD software or 3D design software with background in spatial planning and design; - Excellent Office 365 platform (excellent Excel and Power Point skills are required); - Experience involving the areas detailed above including contracting for entertainment programs and/or experience with retail service contracts preferred; - Proven experience in event coordination, preferably in a sports or international setting; - Strong organizational and multitasking skills with meticulous attention to detail; - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; - Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment; - Working knowledge of Italian and English; - Able to travel and relocate to assigned location during Games Time.
