Position Summary: Villanova Initiative for Engaging Women (VIEW), a 10-month college-prep program that consists of a summer residential component, is seeking Residential Counselors for the summer program.
The Program Assistant will serve as the second point of contact for all staff and students.
Applicants will reside on campus for the duration of the program.
Duties and Responsibilities:The Program Assistant will report directly to the Program Director and assist with the flow of the program, including scheduling, organizing events, and facilitating workshops.The Program Assistant will assist as needed to support students in English and/or math, travel with students to and from class, meals, residence halls, and chaperone trips.Minimum Qualifications:Rising college junior or above.Organization skills required.Ability to work with minimum supervision.Experience working with high school students.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience working in a camp (day or overnight) or summer program setting.Skills or training in programming and administrative experience.Previous experience as a Residential Advisor on a college campus.Created/developed programs for college or was a member of an executive board of an organization.Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:May require walking in various weather conditions.EEO Statement:Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian order.

Salary Posting Information:$15.00/hr.
for 40 hours a week for two weeks.
