Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we're looking to hire a Senior Accountant,located in our Italian plant in Colognola ai Colli (VR) .
Key activities and responsibilities of this role includes:
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Prepare local financial statements according to schedule
- Ensure tax compliance in all respects according to local legislation
- Preparation of income tax return, VAT declarations and any other tax related regulatory reports.
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
- Reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc.
Requirements
- BSc/Ba or college degree in Accounting
- Proven relevant experience of min, 6 years at an industrial or trading company
- Knowledge of Tax and Payroll issues (although processed externally)
- SAP Knowledge is a must
- Good command of English (oral and written)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Very good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices (Local GAAP & IFRS)
- Excellent organizing abilities & problem solving skills
