Aptuit (Verona) Srl is seeking a skilled GL Senior Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. Reporting to the Head of Accounting Italy, he/she will be responsible for managing journal entries, asset and intangibles accounting and accounts reconciliations, across two legal entities.
Key Responsibilities:

- Fixed asset accounting
- Intangibles and IFRS16 accounting
- Account analyses and reconciliations
- Posting of provisions and accruals
- Support in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and ITA GAAP
- Support in the preparation of reporting package for the Group
- Support in the statutory / fiscal periodical tasks
- Audit support (internal and external audits)
- Control owner for some SOX controls

Ideal Qualifications:

- University degree in Accounting or equivalent
- 5+years experience in Accounting
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience of working in an international environment
- Experience in Controlling department is a plus
- Experience in auditing firm is a plus

- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Business fluent in English
