Reporting to the IT Operations Lead in Explora Journeys, our recently launched Luxury Cruises line of MSC, the IT Technical Project Manager - Infra & Ops will be responsible to apply the global Cyber security strategies to the IT systems.
The IT Technical Project Manager - Infra & Ops will serve as IT Operations expert on cybersecurity protection, detection, response and recovery, accordingly with the IT Strategy and the global IT architecture.
He//she will be in charge also of the security systems, such as firewalls, data protection controls, patching, encryption, vulnerability scanning, pen testing and will manage also external teams that will perform the proper deployment, configuration, and functioning of these systems.
- 5+ years of experience in an information security role and at least 2 years with supervisory duties; - Fluent in English, oral and written; any additional European language is considered an advantage; - Experience with common information security management frameworks, such as International Standards Organization (ISO) 2700x, the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) frameworks and NIST and GPDR; - A deep understanding of operating system internals and network protocols and familiarity with the principles of cryptography and cryptanalysis; - Experience in system technology security testing (vulnerability scanning and penetration testing); - Bachelor's degree in information systems or equivalent work experience, M.S.
in information security is preferred; - Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with business managers, IT engineering and IT operations staff; - Experience working with legal, audit and compliance staff; - Proficiency in performing risk, business impact, control and vulnerability assessments.
- Implement and monitor the Global Cyber strategy and IT risk management program to ensure that the system integrity, confidentiality and availability of information is owned, controlled or processed by the company; - Facilitate information security governance through the implementation of an internal security program, including the training of the employee and document creation to enhance the general level of security awareness; - Liaise with the enterprise architecture team to ensure alignment between the security and enterprise architectures, thus coordinating the strategic planning implicit in these architectures; - Collaborate with Corporate SOC to manage security incidents and events (including detection, response and reporting) and protect corporate IT assets; - Develop and oversee effective disaster recovery policies and standards to align with enterprise business continuity management program goals; - Assist resource owners and IT staff in understanding and responding to security audit failures reported by auditors; - Manage outsourced vendors that provide information security functions for compliance with contracted service-level agreements; - Ensure audit trails, system logs and other monitoring data sources are reviewed periodically and comply with policies and audit requirements; - Design, coordinate and oversee security-testing procedures to verify the security of systems, networks and applications, and manage the remediation of identified risks.
