As part of the World Bank Group Institute for Economic Development and the World Bank Group Academy - Development Data, you will be at the heart of crafting and executing our innovative learning programs. You will merge education with technology, community engagement, and knowledge management to support our mission to end poverty and promote shared prosperity on a livable planet. If you're an enthusiastic professional with a Master's degree in a relevant field and experience in educational initiatives and communications, join us. Your role will involve curating knowledge products and developing both virtual and in-person training, enhancing e-learning courses, and playing a key part in our learning events. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a network of internal and external partners to enhance the curation and customization of knowledge, ensuring access to high-quality content and streamlined delivery.
- Transform curated knowledge into dynamic learning experiences, ensuring a seamless integration across various platforms and training modalities.
- Develop and implement impactful learning initiatives that resonate with diverse audiences, leveraging both digital and in-person formats to maximize reach and engagement.
- Assist in the creation, design, and rollout of e-learning courses, contributing to the educational architecture of the institute.
- Provide support for regional and global learning events by drafting essential documents, coordinating with stakeholders, and crafting effective communication materials.
- Contribute to the effective operation of our Learning Evaluation Framework, aiding in the maintenance of high standards for the assessment and enhancement of the institute's and WBG Academy - Development Data training services.
- Work closely with the Learning and Communications Leads to develop comprehensive courses, educational materials, and other resources that support the World Bank Group's learning objectives.
Selection Criteria
- Hold a Master's degree in either knowledge management, instructional design, international relations, economics, communications, or a related area, coupled with at least two years of experience in developing capacity-building programs and managing communication channels.
- Skilled in organizing and facilitating both virtual and in-person learning experiences, including self-paced courses.

Exceptional communication abilities, with a track record of effectively conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences across various platforms and formats.
- Proficient with information resources and technology tools like Share Point, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), In Design.

Excellent organizational capabilities, with a proven history of producing high-quality work within set deadlines.
- Resilient under pressure, capable of meeting tight deadlines, adjusting to changing priorities, and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships for successful teamwork
