The Ticketmaster Marketing team drives fan-centric initiatives via Content, Partnerships, CRM, and Performance Marketing channels, creating campaigns to retain existing fans, acquire new fans and ultimately drive sales.THE JOBTicketmaster is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Partnership Marketing to lead and execute our sports sponsorship deals program with major leagues and teams, including the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, etc., spanning more than 100 professional and collegiate partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing successful partnership marketing plans that enhance brand visibility, drive revenue, and foster mutually beneficial relationships with partners.You will lead the management of Ticketmaster's sponsorship assets and work closely with Client Development leaders and be a thoughtful business partner to our Client Development organization. You will be accountable for identifying new concepts and programs to expand our relationships with clients, identifying and negotiating sponsorship assets associated with new/renewing sponsorship deals, activating and optimizing existing assets, and measuring the long-term brand benefit from sponsorship assets.This role will oversee a team of marketers who have relationships with our clients and manage our existing assets with them, oversee agency scope of work and partnership budget management and work closely with the rest of the marketing team, internal stakeholders, and senior leaders.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGDevelop and implement comprehensive partnership marketing strategies to achieve Ticketmaster and Partner business objectives.Collaborate with internal Client Development teams to consult with negotiation and finalization of sponsorship agreements, ensuring they improve return on sponsorship investments across digital and co-marketing assets.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, marketing, and legal, to ensure successful implementation and management of partnership agreements.Maintain strong relationships with existing client partners and continuously seek opportunities to enhance and expand those client relationships.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and execute on partnership assets that align with Ticketmaster's performance and brand marketing goals.Cultivate and manage relationships with key partners, negotiating and structuring impactful marketing initiatives.Drive brand integration and co-marketing efforts to maximize exposure and fan engagement.Monitor and analyze the performance of partnership initiatives, providing regular reports to senior management and adjusting strategies as necessary.Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and fan behavior to identify new opportunities and optimize existing partnerships.Lead the current partnership marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative culture.WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum of 15 years of experience in partnership marketing, business development, or a relevant experience in brand partnerships, events, and client servicesMinimum of 5 years in a leadership role, experience negotiating deals with partners in the sports industry, and demonstrated evidence of building and nurturing relationships at senior leadership level within the industrySports marketing experience at league or team level or sports marketing agency experience is preferredDemonstrated success in developing and executing partnership strategies that have contributed to business growth.Experienced at managing partner complexity working across a wide range of clients and ensuring executional excellence.Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract negotiation and management.Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends to inform decision-making.Proven experience with brand activations on the ground and connecting them back with business and brand objectives and demonstrate results.Track record of creating new ideas / concepts that unlock new growth opportunities across a large breath of assets beyond the typical partner/logo integrations.Experience managing multiple agencies especially on day-to-day asset management across all existing and new dealsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, driving them to achieve and exceed targets.Ability to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events.YOU (BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS)Strategic thinker with ability to foster long-term partnership opportunitiesConfident and skilled at negotiating contracts terms that benefit both partiesAbility to influence executive levels at teams and fostering close top to top relationshipsExpertise in establishing and nurturing strong, productive relationships with partners, stakeholders, and team members.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, proposals, and the value proposition of partnerships.Creative problem solvingStrong leadership skills to inspire and guide teams towards achieving partnership goals and to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.Manage multiple agency relationships and oversee annual partnership marketing budget and scope negotiation with agencies across retainer and project based initiativesCollaborative and ability to work in a highly matrixed organizationCapable of making informed decisions quickly, based on data, insights, and prior experienceLIFE AT TICKETMASTERWe are proud to be a part of Live Nation Entertainment, the world's largest live entertainment company.Our vision at Ticketmaster is to connect people around the world to the live events they love.
