The team This team is responsible for creating, developing and driving our AI initiatives; fostering innovation, and ensuring the successful deployment of cutting-edge generative AI technology and products that power sustainable connectivity. The role The Digital Partner's primary objective is to drive digital transformation within the rail sector by leveraging Hitachi's digital capabilities and offerings. This role focuses on integrating services and solutions from various Hitachi digital companies, collaborating with subject matter experts from Hitachi Vantara, Hitachi Digital Services, GlobalLogic, Hitachi Cyber, and other relevant entities within the Hitachi group, to deliver comprehensive and innovative solutions tailored to the rail industry. The role will act as a strategic consultant, collaborating with stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction in rail transportation and is pivotal in fostering innovation, ensuring cohesive execution, and aligning efforts across the organization to achieve Hitachi's strategic objectives and market success. Leading Strategic Digital Transformation in opportunity identification and Strategy Development within the Rail Sector Support Hitachi Rail to develop and articulate a digital strategy that aligns with Hitachi's vision and rail industry needs Engage with key stakeholders from Hitachi digital companies (Hitachi Vantara, Hitachi Digital Services, Global Logic, and Hitachi Cyber) to align their offerings with the rail sector's requirements Facilitate collaboration and ensure cohesive integration of services and solutions Design customized digital solutions that address the specific challenges and goals of rail industry clients Leverage Hitachi's digital technologies, including IoT, AI, data analytics, and cybersecurity, to create innovative solutions Conduct market analysis to understand trends, challenges, and opportunities within the rail sector Develop business development plans and strategies to expand Hitachi's digital footprint in the rail industry Build and maintain strong relationships alongside Hitachi Rail with rail industry clients, acting as a trusted digital advisor and partner Ensure ongoing client satisfaction and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and additional value creation What you'll bring The suitable candidate will have strong experience in Sales, Consultancy and Digital Transformation of Operational Technology (OT) Industry including Rail from a Services/Consultancy Industry in Digital/IT. Experience in the technology sector, preferably with a background in Operational Technology (OT), Information Technology (IT), and/or digital services Experience within a large GSI environment. Deep experience in the rail industry (or comparable mission-critical, safety-critical industry such as aviation or defence), with a strong background in digital transformation and consultancy services Proven track record of managing complex & international projects involving multiple stakeholders from different business units Proven experience in Digital GTM Experience working with or within Hitachi digital companies is a plus Experience and ability to lead and facilitate workshops and knowledge transfer sessions effectively Highly motivated, with excellent leadership, organisational, communication and people skills Must be an excellent communicator managing internal and external communications, expectations and requests Ability to work and lead in a multicultural environment A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required About us We're a global, 1000-strong, diverse team of professional experts, promoting and delivering Social Innovation through our One Hitachi initiative (OT x IT x Product) and working on projects that have a real-world impact.
