Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.
We want you as a talented Vibro-Acoustic Senior Engineer to help us in our mission by contributing to the development, justification and validation of our vehicle.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn your capacity as a Vibro-Acoustic Senior Engineer, your role will include:
Collaborating with the aerodynamic team for the definition of the environment during reentry.Managing the models for acoustic and dynamic simulations.Performing vibro-Acoustic simulations for launch and reentry phases.Establishing dynamic specifications for sub-systems and equipment.Supporting acoustic testing from test preparation (writing of test plan, definition of instrumentation...) to test exploitation.Effectively communicating and providing recommendations through the analysis, preparation, and presentation of technical data.Writing technical documentation and participating in reviews.Contributing to the creation and improvement of mechanical analysis tools.What we would love to see from youQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.In-depth knowledge of Vibro-Acoustics, acoustics, vibrations.Strong experience with Finite Element Models simulations.Strong experience with acoustic and vibration testing.Experience with programming (Python, Matlab...) is a plus.Skills and BehavioursAbility to effectively utilize oral and written communication to express technical concepts and recommendations.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong organizing and prioritization of tasks.Positive and flexible attitude to get the job done.Demonstrates behaviours consistent with The Exploration Company's core values of Vision, Competence, Integrity and Passion.Fluent in English.
