For a leading company operating in the Shipping sector, present both nationally and internationally, we are looking for a Vessel Specialist.

Purpose of the Position Bunker Management Port Performance Monitoring Vessel Performance Monitoring including tugs usage and lashing/unlashing operations Ship Damage Handling Line Manager backup Duties Specific to the Position Bunker Management: Ensure the bunker supply to all vessels of our fleet.
Fix bunker survey and on-off hire Survey when necessary.
Stay abreast with brent trend and bunker price fluctuation on main bunker station.
Bunkers weekly report.
Bunker Consumption Monitor / Vessels performances.
Daily monitor of vessel bunker consumption, coordination with Line Manager to set appropriate speed instructions.
Send vessel consumption report on weekly basis monitoring consumption and bunker ROB inserted by agent on Company's system.
Check that bunker consumptions input in budget, delta reports and studies are in line with actual data, as resulting from the weekly monitoring.
Carbon Intensity Indicator Monitoring.
Monitoring CO2 emission of our vessels in coordination with Arkas fleet management.
Monitoring Tugs Usage: Monitor tugs usage of all vessels of our fleet.
Keep updated on port tug usage rules and tariff.
Port Operation Coordinator: Monitor cargo operations and performances of all ports, daily contact with local agencies making sure that ships cargo ops are done as quickly as possible.
Monitoring of port performances and congestion.
Contacts port operations person in order to remedy problems related to the cargo operation, if any.
Set and monitor lashing/unlashing ops done by vessel crew or porters on Emes operated vessels.
Pic of berth window negotiation.
Ship Damage Claims Handling: Managing of ship damages, in accordance with Vessel command, occurred during cargo operations and possible dispute with terminal about responsibility.
Ensure that vessel damages will be repaired as quickly as possible in order to have full vessel capacity.
Line Management as Company Needs: Requirements (Essential/Must Have) At least 5 years of experience in related sector.
Diploma from a Nautical Institute/Degree in Maritime Economics/Naval or Military Maritime Academy.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Compensation Package Permanent employment contract with a salary commensurate with the experience possessed.
