Hauptaufgaben Advises the Registrar and Provost Marshal in the areas of licensing and privately owned vehicle customs clearance for personnel with vehicles registered under the USASETAF 190-3.Assists in the administration of the command-wide vehicle registration program, handling the registration of vehicles brought into the command and sales of vehicles between members of the command.Works the entire registration process from time of arrival at port to the receipt of license plates, advising command personnel on obtaining various documents.Determines the validity of documents and signs documents verifying that the individual is a member of the command and entitled to tax-free privileges.Interprets and applies instructions and regulations pertaining to vehicle registration and handling, providing advice and assistance to command personnel.Acts as a liaison between the Provost Marshal and law enforcement officials to obtain cooperation and assistance in vehicle registration programs.Handles written and telephonic liaison, arranges for and interprets during bi-weekly meetings with various police and customs authorities.May train Military Policemen in vehicle registration matters and prepare SOPs for vehicle disposal and impounding procedures.Performs registration of weapons and advises personnel on registration requirements, ensuring the process is carried out properly.Collects cash payments for vehicle registration fees and issues receipts, ensuring proper payments are made.Verifies daily cash and check balances and maintains custody of vehicle registration cash funds.Prepares end-of-day reports and various documentation related to registrations and compliance.Maintains a variety of office files.NOTE: Tour of duty is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 08.00 to 17.00, including a 1-hour uncompensated lunch break.
Qualifikationsanforderungen MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must meet the qualification requirements in the "General Schedule Qualification Standards" published by U.S Office of Personnel Management.
EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least the U-06 grade level.
Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Education may be substituted for experience in accordance with the "General Schedule Qualification Standards" published by U.S Office of Personnel Management.
