In order to strengthen our engineering team, we are looking to hire Vehicle Benchmarking Specialist.
The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of the vehicle and its systems and components. Furthermore, the ability to adopt a technical, experimental, and reverse engineering approach is required in tackling daily challenges. Benchmarking within the Ferrari process aims to bring out our competitor's points of interest.
You will support the team in the analyses and measurements to be carried out on the cars through:
Planning and set-upData collecting and processingManagement of materials, spare parts, and logisticsMarket research and analysisPreparation and editing of outputIn order to succeed in this challenging role, it is required to have achieved excellent academic results with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Management, or equivalent Engineering. It will be an advantage to have experienced other industrial or automotive environments in your past career. Skills in experimental measurement environments and the entire Office package are mandatory to manage the activities. Familiarity with test automation (i.e., Python) and data collecting and analysis software (i.e., Vector, Inca) are advantageous for the role. Strong technical skills, an empirical and problem-solving approach, accountability, and teamwork are essential to manage the daily activities and work transversally within the organization.
At Ferrari, you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly dynamic and fast-changing environment, think analytically, and demonstrate attention to detail and critical thinking ability. It is important to be proactive in proposing new solutions to optimize all processes and activities. Fluent English is required for the position, and Italian language skills are an advantage.
