To strengthen the engineering team within a prestigious Motorcycle context, we are looking for a Vehicle Dynamics Engineer The person will be involved in the R&D Department within Motorsport context.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle dynamics, data analysis, and track testing, with a focus on improving performance and understanding the interactions between vehicle, tyre, and environment.
Main responsibilitiesTrack Test Support collaborating with the test team to advise on planning and Vehicle Dynamics analysis.Outdoor Measurement of Vehicle & TyreOutdoor Measurement of Track: Conduct surface scanning and data processing.Develop and improve auto measurement devices for track data collection.Develop systems to observe vehicle behavior and improve estimations of ground forces, slip angle, roll angle, and other key metrics.Provide trackside data analysis support to tests on a regular basis.Offer remote data analysis support during tests and races.Furthermore, as a performance engineer during races, you will be responsible for developing a strategy for the current machine setup, conducting data studies, analyzing the circuit, assessing tire allocation, and reviewing competitor performance pre-event.
During the race, you will present the strategy and run plan to GP teams, distribute and explain new tools, perform trackside measurements, and analyze data, comparing the proposed strategy with run data while collaborating with video analysts.
Required Skills/ KnowledgeMechanical or Automotive engineering degree.Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics, data collection, and analysis techniques.Preferable experience in motorcycle dynamics and testing, particularly trackside.Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.Ability to analyze large datasets and make data-driven decisions to enhance performance.Location: Milan.Experis is the IT & Technology company of Manpower Group.
