Posizione: Vehicle Diagnostic Specialist – Resident Engineer Workplace: Italy - Brescia/Suzzara
In the context of Light/Medium/Heavy vehicles manufacturing plants for one of major MICLA customer, MICLA is looking for a vehicle diagnostic specialist, who will be employed as a Resident Engineer at customer plant to support vehicle diagnostic activities, EOL engineering support, SW flashing activities and troubleshooting activities.
More in detail, she/he will be responsible for leading or supporting the following activities:
Programming/Flashing electronic controllers; Diagnosis/Problem solving support in case of issues; Collaborate on EOL process improvement with manufacturing plant references; Provide active support to manufacturing people in plant when building Prototype Vehicles; Reporting project status to vehicle product development department. These activities are performed in production plant in different phases of the project:
With engineering tools for prototype vehicles used in the development and validation phases; With official EOL tools for production vehicles. During the building of the Prototypes or Pre-Build vehicles, an active support must be provided to the plant to solve all the situations that can appear. To perform this task the use of CAN bus analyzer (with J1939 option) is requested.
Continuous support is needed for current production, due to the management of new content that can generate unwanted effects on vehicles, and for which engineering analysis is needed to understand root causes and effects.
Requisiti: Required Technical Skills: Master/Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Vehicle Engineering; As alternative, high school degree with 5 years' experience in vehicle diagnostic / troubleshooting (E/E systems); Basic knowledge in automotive network architecture; Knowledge in automotive systems for diagnosis, networking, CAN/CAN FD/LIN/Ethernet communication; UDS Diagnostics – Unified Diagnostic Services according to ISO 14429; SAE J1939 standard. Required Soft Skills: Ability to work in a team and within a complex organization. Communication, strong leadership, interpersonal and effective communication skills. Ability to simultaneously manage different tasks. Experience working in cross functional teams. Language skills: English is mandatory. Italian is nice to have.
