Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
The Venue Development & Overlay (VDO) functional area is composed by areas such as Design/Delivery, Program Management, Cost & Contract, Engineering Services and Signage and Wayfinding.
VDO is responsible for the planning, design and delivery of temporary infrastructure for all competition and main non-competition venues.
The VDO Readiness Coordinator will be responsible for leading and coordinating the interface with the OCOG Operational Readiness team.
Ensure that VDO staff make a smooth transition, and the understanding of policies and procedures throughout the planning and the Games readiness phase.
Interface with key functional areas in the planning and execution of each stage of the Games readiness process.
In particular, he/she will: Support the development of VDO readiness project execution plan for review and implementation consistent with Games readiness initiatives; Support the development and presentation of VDO policies and procedures working closely with VDO and Games readiness team; Interface with other functional areas in respect of operational readiness preparation; Assist in the development of VDO testing requirements and ensure these are properly tested during operational readiness preparation before Games Time; Participate in the development of the Venues & Infrastructure Command Centre (VICC), Concept of Operations and the communication protocols between VDO representatives at venues, OCOG Main Operations Centre and external stakeholders; Support the effective communications within VDO and external stakeholders as it relates to Games readiness planning; At Games Time, coordinate activities in the VICC and ensure that policies and procedures are maintained and followed, prepare draft daily reports and issue registers for team resolution, cross stakeholder coordination and final reporting to the VICC manager/director.
