VAT and Indirect Tax Manager, MilanVAT and Indirect Tax Manager, telecommunications networks.Our client is a company leader in the telecommunication industry.DescriptionEnsure VAT and Indirect Taxation full compliance;Ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT returns (and other similar indirect taxes);Manage VAT registrations, filings, and payments;Oversee the preparation and review of VAT reconciliations and ensure proper documentation is maintained;Monitor and respond to changes in VAT legislation and ensure compliance with new regulations;Develop and implement VAT strategies to optimize the company's VAT position (including VAT credit) and mitigate VAT risks;Provide VAT advice on business transactions, contracts, and new business initiatives;Cooperate with cross-functional teams to ensure VAT and indirect tax implications are duly managed and integrated into business processes;Support the implementation of a tax control framework fully aligned with OECD principles and with applicable tax laws and regulations;Manage VAT audits and inquiries from tax authorities;Prepare and submit responses to VAT audit queries and support the resolution of disputes;Act as internal tax advisor and point of contact for VAT related inquiries and issues;Manage external VAT and indirect tax advisors;Lead the implementation and maintenance of VAT component of ERP tax technology solutions;Ensure the accuracy and completeness of VAT data;Provide training and support concerning VAT implications to internal teams;Identify opportunities to streamline and automate VAT processes;Develop and implement practices for VAT compliance and reporting;Work with the IT team to enhance VAT reporting capabilities and ensure data integrity.ProfileMaster's degree in tax /accounting / finance / economics;At least 6-year in-house VAT and indirect tax experience in structured corporate contexts;CTA or equivalent certification is preferred;Strong knowledge of VAT laws and regulations;Fluent in Italian and English, both spoken and written;Strong problem solving and analytical skills;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively cooperate with cross-functional teams;Proficient in Microsoft Office tools;High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy;Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Job OfferGrowth opportunity in a national wide company.
