Validation Engineer The validation engineer, in the context of the electrification team, will work on verification, validation and homologation aspects of new products (i.e., HV battery, E/E components, e-Motor, etc.). He/ she will take care of the technical, organizational, and legal aspects of the aforementioned activities, in strict coordination with customers, systems engineer, components engineers, project managers and test facilities.
Main Duties:
Consults with management, assesses customer requirements, and studies product characteristics to select validation objectives and standards. Prepares DVP for validation or performance testing of prototypes and components. Analyzes data and report preparation from validation tests to determine whether systems and processes meet required criteria and specifications. Collaborates and coordinates with appropriate departments and staff regarding the scheduling or implementation of validation testing. Identifies root causes of failed tests. Identifies nonconformities of product or process standard and offers recommendations for resolving deviations. Develops and maintains databases for tracking test results, validation activities, or validated systems. Develops, maintains, or reviews validation and compliance documentation including schematics, protocols, and engineering change notices. Modifies testing methods or revisits test objectives and standards to resolve testing problems. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualification Requirements:
Master's degree in electrical, mechanical or mechatronics engineering. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work in highly dynamic environment. Strongly detail-oriented and self-organized. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. At least B2 English (written and spoken) is essential. At least 1 year experience in test plans for integration, verification and validation for product performance and robustness. Including definition of test specification and instrumentation plan. Demonstrated ability to understand and successfully work across multiple disciplines such as engineering, software and manufacturing is highly desired. Basic knowledge of CAD software (preferably Creo View). At least 1 year of professional automotive experience on electrification validation field in the area of electrical component (i.e., HV battery, Inverter, OBC, DC/DC, e-Motor, etc). Understanding of automotive standards and regulatory guidelines is highly appreciated. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. We Offer:
