Hauptaufgaben Incumbent operates, maintains and repairs a complete water utility system including water treatment systems related to swimming pools.
Performs daily checks on Direct Digital Control system of the active alarms to perform advanced trouble shooting of the systems and ensures that all water utility system components are properly operating.
Performs daily readings of associated water meters and pressure gauges, flow and electrical values to determine if equipment is operating within prescribed limits or evaluate if there are water leakages.
Makes manual adjustments to injectors, pumps, valves, and metered pumps.
Periodically flushes water distribution lines to ensure their cleanliness.
Daily checks the quantity of hypo-chlorine, hydrochloric acid and sodium chlorite within the tanks in order to request new delivery of products and ensure continuous operation of the disinfection system.
Through the reading of meters and gages, and on the basis of observation, isolates leakages and malfunctions in the water distribution system and makes a limited number of repairs or installations.
Checks valves, repacks and removes and replaces valve heads as needed, or replaces complete valve assemblies.
As needed, disassembles electric motors and compressors, and replaces worn or defective parts.
Disassembles and replaces defective parts contained in chemicals dosing systems.
Checks periodically and repairs/replaces damaged fire hydrants and fire pumps.
Operates, maintains and repairs sanitary sewage system equipment.
Adjusts and replaces parts and tests them before and after assembling to ensure that the system is working properly.
Performs daily check of sewer lift station pumps and periodical check of sewer lines, grease traps and septic tanks, and performs sewer line unblocking by using high pressure water jet equipment.
Operates, maintains and repairs first flush rain water treatment systems for proper functioning and periodically performs reading of their water meters and also inspects sump pumps installed inside manholes and elevator shafts.
Daily checks swimming pools water filtration and ozone systems to ensure proper functioning; checks chemical products dosing systems and tests water to ensure to be within the values requested by Law.
NOTE: Tour of duty is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 08.00 to 17.00, including a 1-hour uncompensated lunch break.
