What you'll need to have You have a good experience in People & Culture area and a relevant experience in leading a group of people. Proven record of developing people and organization. Strong leadership skills and ability to influence stakeholders at different levels. As a person, you are passionate about business and people and you have a strong belief in individuals' potential; you are also passionate in performance, creating an engaging co-worker experience able to lead strong business results through people. Good knowledge about the rights and obligations of workers and employers, and how to mediate the relationship between workers, employing entities, trade unions, and the government. You have the ability to implement long-term plans according to set budgets and goals, developing virtual and other collaborative relationships to facilitate current and future objectives. Ability to work independently, take own initiatives and responsibility but also be a team player, with the ability to influence and inspire. You demonstrate the ability to use different leadership styles and needs as well as appropriate use for different situations. You have the knowledge of identifying, assessing, encouraging, and ensuring co-workers' performance against organizational and individual goals. You use, govern, and manage partnership models in a responsible way to build trustful partnership relationships. You know how to anticipate, identify, and develop potential successors for key positions in IKEA. You have good knowledge of Italian and English languages. What you'll be doing day to day You are a business partner and a contributor for the Unit Management Team and lead the unit People and Culture team to secure People strategies are locally implemented into action.

You will:

Act as a P&C business partner to the Market Manager on all People topics. Lead and develop the unit P&C team to provide excellent co-worker experience. Ensure the people strategy, global principles/guidelines as localized by the Country P&C team and relevant business plans are operationally implemented and lived up to. Influence unit management team to continuously develop local leadership capabilities within their function. Support the building of local business competence & performance by setting and working on relevant goals. Ensure delivery of learning & training at unit level, supported by the P&C Generalist or Market Area Learning Delivery Specialist. Ensure local employer communication is consistent, well perceived, and builds on the IKEA brand. Together with the market area manager, secure an up-to-date succession process and plan by influencing the managers in taking the lead with special focus on developing talents and high-performing potentials. Responsible for implementation of co-worker relations plan that effectively manages all local interactions with co-workers and ensures that all areas in the unit work with the labor relations principles and uphold local policies, procedures, and law. Together with the Business Navigation Manager, responsible for the distribution of budget hours between the unit departments, according to the need of the business and the co-worker, enabling an effective and efficient people planning process.
