Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a UAV Field Technician 4 (Triton) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
This position is a two-year minimum expat assignment located in Sigonella, Italy.
This will include OCONUS uplifts for expats.
As well as expatriation and repatriation to and from the site.
Responsibilities: Perform developmental, production, and operational aircraft maintenance, repair, modification, and installation to support flight testing and fleet integration for the MQ-4C Triton.
Areas of specialization include avionics, electrical, airframe, engine, instrumentation systems, and integrated systems.
Work from blueprints, engineering orders, schematics, repair manuals and other technical documents in the performance of maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly, or adjustment of various vehicle systems.
Troubleshoot and accurately diagnose malfunctions to properly identify and correct problems in minimum time.
Install upgrades and remove products ensuring coordinative engineering field changes.
Work with active-duty military personnel in a professional manner as a representative of Northrop Grumman.
Adhere to Contractor Operating Procedures and Naval Aviation Maintenance Practices.
Basic Qualifications: An associate degree plus 4 years of recent specialized experience, OR; A major certification and six years of recent specialized experience, OR; A high school diploma and 8 years of recent specialized experience An Active DoD Top Secret clearance required Ability to obtain and maintain clearance up to SCI/Poly requirement.
Experience instructing maintenance in a FSR role Preferred Qualifications: Triton/Global Hawk experience OOMA and U.S. Navy maintenance experience.
Avionics/Electrical background.
Salary Range: $68,000 - $113,400 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
