Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Treasury Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will support the company's treasury activities, ensuring efficient management of cash flow and financial transactions.
This role is critical for maintaining smooth financial operations and ensuring compliance with company procedures and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist the team with the company's treasury activities to ensure: - Smooth business transactions through daily alignment between bank balances, MiCo Treasury system (Kyriba), and ERP system (Oracle).
- Proper management of proceeds from various sources such as sponsors, ticketing, accommodation, licensing & merchandising, broadcasting rights, food & beverage, etc., with a particular focus on managing EUR/USD FX risks and relevant hedging derivatives.
- Accurate management of cash outflows for venues & infrastructures, games services operations, technology, ceremonies, marketing and communication, and governance.
- Maintaining a smooth financial balance between cash needs and cash surpluses, including the use of bank facilities drawdown as necessary.
- Regular bank reporting and covenant certification.
- Full compliance with MiCo procedures.
- Development of the treasury system to meet evolving business requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance.
- Previous experience working as a treasury assistant.
- Proficiency with bookkeeping and accounting/treasury software.
- Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Ability to remain focused for extended periods.
- Advanced written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Willingness to temporarily perform the role from clusters and venues different from Milano.
