**Job Summary**:
In this role you will be responsible for driving TRC sales growth and developing retail network by close partnership with TRC producers and brand owners.
TRC Retail Business Development Manager is responsible for delivering volume growth through category development, new product introductions and capture growth through tenders (building visibility of tender timings, volume, process and supplier network).
TRC Retail Business Development Manager shall identify and develop relevant promotional and commercial tools required to address business growth, retail
- and consumer awareness, as well as preferences vs alternative packaging solutions.
To be successful in the role, it is required to build effective internal and external networks, define clear operational plans and secure alignment with partners, define and execute budget targets.
Prioritized delivery on retail capability development in Europe, same time it will require to develop effective co-packing business globally to deliver TRC global growth.
The position can be based at any Tetra Pak office in Europe, the role will require travelling up to 20%.
**What you will do**:
- Lead the development of retailer (incl.
eCommerce) network and develop TRC business growth in close collaboration with TRC producers and brand owners.
This includes identifying market, category, product opportunities aligned to TRC strategy and customers.
Growth development is aligned with the customer business.
In order to build effective networks and secure growth delivery, it might require identifying and developing effective 3rd party collaboration network and business model.
The TRC Retail Business Development Manager works with the PS TRC organization and market sales teams to implement the planned projects.
- Understand, map and develop tender process and secure TRC preference through close collaboration with customers or intermediaries.
Secure tender business continuity and customer capability development.
- Identify and develop relevant Commercial tools and define Promotional investments projects and budgets.
Commercial tools (business model) shall be aligned with PS TRC organization and follow respective process.
Implementation of Promotional Budget with Retailers and or Customers are according to the promotional investment process which is based on TRC PS alignment of marketing objectives.
- Work as part of a Global PS TRC team and Market Companies, develop relevant support network and secure competence transfer, business plan alignment.
- Define and deliver strategic projects that will drive growth through retailers, new consumptions opportunities, consumers or products, and cross-border business.
- Develop and drive a strong communication both internally and externally to develop TRC competence, awareness and preference, secure relevant communication campaigns incl budget allocation
- Develop relevant sales value proposition addressing retailer needs and opportunities
- Review, deliver and secure defined product margins during introduction
- and deployment phases.
**We believe you have**:
- University degree (Ba, Ma) qualification in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or Engineering or similar
- Minimum 5 years successful track record doing Business with new customers, prospects, retailers and intermediaries.
- English language is a must.
- Strong strategic perspective to visualize business opportunities in new customers, and game changers that might impact the food industry through packaging
- Very proactive, listening to the customers to extract the real root cause of the problems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong self-motivation, initiative-taker, and flexible attitude
- Ability to perform well under pressure and solve problems quickly and efficiently
- Good business acumen and be solution and customer focused
- Positive attitude and determined to succeed
- Flexible and professional attitude and ability to influence people at various levels internally and externally
