As a highly motivated, proactive, and passionate Travel Specialist for Japaventura, you will plan, design, and sell life-changing trips to Japan.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver great customer service from first contact to the end of their trip, develop new products, and help our clients make the most informed buying choice possible.
Important: The start date for this position is June 1st, 2024.
On a daily basis, you will: Offer advice to our customers before, during, and after the trip (by phone and email).
Provide a unique sales experience by phone and email that will help us to reach our goals.
Work on the content in German for the website: create new material regularly or translate existing texts from English.
Coordinate the trips of our guests with internal and external service providers (e.g., flights department, local providers, guides, etc.)
ensuring the extraordinary quality of the trips we offer.
Design amazing trips that will delight your customers.
Negotiate services and prices with local service providers, securing the best deals for Japaventura and our clients.
Focus on the traveler and provide world-class customer service that addresses customer needs.
The basics that you bring along: Great communication skills, both verbal and written, in English, German (native level), and Japanese (a big plus).
Passion for being in contact with our clients (both by phone and via email).
Good understanding of how to sell a travel product.
Passion for Japan and travel experience there.
Positive attitude and ability to remain calm under stress.
You can impress us even more with: Good knowledge of Japanese for partner communication.
Experience in the tourism industry, especially as a tour operator.
Sales and customer service experience.
Software skills.
