**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Forecast Load Planning and generate Transportation Movement Requests in the Transportation Coordinator's - Automated Information for Movements System (TC-AIMS II).
- Provide daily movement status report to the higher headquarters element.
- Responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions.
- Plan, direct, or coordinate transportation, storage, or distribution activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable government laws or regulations.
- Anticipate transportation problems related to operational area and environmental and human factors.
- Determine logistic support sequences and time-phasing.
- Communicate in both verbal and written dialog while conducting daily business with vendors and other organizations.
- Conduct research or technical studies to support logistic functions.
- Compile and update status reports, databases, and spreadsheets.
- Work in a team environment with independent assignments.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- 3+ years of qualified experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field (OR) 7+ years of qualified experience and an associate degree in a related field (OR) 9+ years of qualified experience.
- Experience in operating material handling equipment. Knowledge of industrial safety requirements; Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and personal safety equipment use.
- Fundamental knowledge of Import, Export, and ITAR Compliance.
- HAZMAT certified for declaring and transporting Dangerous Goods.
- TC-AIMS II certified for coordinating the transport of U.S. Department of Defense cargo.
- Must have proof of completed training in the Army Training and Requirements Resource System (ATRRS).
- Experience in warehousing operations.
- Experience in receipt, accountability, and inventory of equipment in a technical field or military environment.
- Knowledge of shipping forms.
- Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
- Valid Driver's License.
- High School Diploma or GED.
**Desired Qualifications**:
- Fundamental knowledge of planning, coordinating, and transporting cargo within the European Union (EU).
**Clearance Requirements**:
- Must have an active Secret clearance.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
- Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
- Must be able to work in high noise areas.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
- Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
