Job Description: DXC Technology Italy is looking for a Transition and Transformation Program Manager. In this role, you will be accountable for delivering complex ITO Transition and Transformation programs within budget and timelines, as well as leading the Transition and Transformation team both at the pre-contract phase and during the implementation phase of the deal.
During the pre-contract phase, you will: Manage/support project managers and architects of Transition/Transformation projects in developing each project's scope of work, estimates, schedule, and risk.
Ensure that all Transition/Transformation Project Plans are consistent, congruent, and integrate with the overall Program Plan and customer Transition/Transformation plans.
Ensure that appropriate Transition and Transformation Methodology (TTM) processes are used/followed (such as reporting, risk management, lessons learned, quality, escalating, communications, etc.).
During the implementation phase (post-contract signature), you will be responsible for: The overall program execution (Programs need to be delivered within scope, timelines, quality, and cost).
Leading and managing the project managers that are in charge of the different projects.
Managing the different streams that are part of the program: Technical Towers, HR, Finance and administration, Assets, 3rd party contracts, Governance, etc.
Financial management, including monthly re-forecasting activities.
Scope management.
Key skills: 5+ years experience managing complex ITO transformation programs across different workstreams: setting up Data Centers, HW procurement, Security, Network, apps analysis, migration to new infrastructure, Workplace Services, etc.
Experience in complex mainframe transformation programs. Experience in migration to Cloud (private cloud, VPC, and public cloud).
Experience in Transition projects (service transition from current supplier to new supplier).
Project/Program management skills. Capable of managing all aspects of the program: milestones, scope, finances, risks, issues, etc.
PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or PgMP Certification.
Knowledge of ITIL processes.
Strong people management skills, typically with indirect reports.
Analyze and resolve problems.
Focus on customers. This is a client-facing role.
Design and deliver presentations.
Influence management.
Negotiate effectively.
Knowledge of IT Market, Strategy, and Trends.
Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
