Transformer Service Manager Italy

Description You will lead the Transformer Service Organizations in Italy, based in Monselice.
Reporting to the Hub Europe Transformer Service Manager, you will implement the Global Service Strategy and drive Service Growth in the referred Markets, achieving Growth and Performance targets while optimizing the utilization of service resources.Your responsibilities:Mission: Lead transformer Service business in Italy, leverage mutual synergies, drive for strong Growth over current levels and for outstanding profitability, while complying with Hitachi Standards on HSE and Integrity.Keep outstanding performance of local team in terms of continuous HSE improvement and Integrity compliance, reinforce local Culture in this direction.Full PL accountability - Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly business results in terms of achieving target Profitability and Orders received.Achieve remarkable 2-digit Business Growth over the next years in Italy.
Detect and expand Transformer Service business in white spots, penetrate new segments (example: Industry, Data Centers).Further penetration in current Customer installed fleet, significant expansion of Customer base (new Customers).Expand transformer Service portfolio (Transformer Intelligence, Advanced Maintenance, Parts, Life Extension, etc.
).Build sustainable Customer relationships to ensure Growth, satisfaction, and retention, jointly with Sales Team, and use customer feedback to drive consistent development of processes and practices.Professional management of day-to-day business to ensure profitable Growth and improve Service productivity.Secure outstanding Quality at execution, drive to differentiate in the Market by this factor.Secure training competence development of own Team as a key tool for people growth and Market differentiation.Drive Service Strategy implementation in Italy, leveraging mutual synergies, in collaboration with Hub, Global Service Org., and Country Team.Proactively manage and support local Team, promote, retain, and attract Talents.KPIs: HSE recordable incidents, Order intake, Sustainable Orders and Revenue Growth, Operational EBITA %, cash flow, margin slippage.Challenges: Business Growth, cultural shift from reactive to proactive mind-set, especially at Service Sales, and successful navigation in a relatively complex Regional and Global organization.Living HITACHI's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your background:Strong pioneering fighting spirit, self-driven for business development Growth.A Master's degree in Engineering combined with commercial competence, supplemented with experience in production, operations, and/or marketing sales.Previous positions have made you an experienced leader who brings enthusiasm and energy to the business and fosters a culture of teamwork and development, including professional growth of own Team.Strong business acumen, results-oriented and proactive personality.
You know how to market your unit's needed investments and propose new ideas to serve our customers profitably.Good command of Italian and English required; other languages are a plus.General Management skills, with specific focus on HSE and Integrity.Strong Leadership, Ambition, and Personal drive for Business Growth.Strong Customer orientation, personal preference for Proactive Sales, ease to create and develop personal relationships (internally and externally).Networking skills, clear mindset to ask for support when needed.Good command of Finances as required for General Management level (specialist level not required).More than 5 years of experience in managerial positions, working as a first line manager.Knowledge and experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and repairing transformers or other industrial/technical products will be considered.
