About the role:
The Transformation Management Lead (TML) supports and enables the delivery and execution of the Commercial and G&A portfolios in the Transformation, through robust portfolio management, influence management, Workstream Leader partnering, analytics and problem solving.
The scope is all businesses, all functions and all regions.
The TML also owns and executes a key pillar of Transformation 2.0 - "Focus and Simplify" (in support of Convatec's Strategic Intent - Focus, Innovate, Simplify, Build capability, and Execute with Excellence (FISBE)).
A customized personal development and mentoring plan will be created in the first month - based on the individual's particular career aspirations and development needs/ interests.
Your key duties and responsibilities:
Portfolio Management
- Lead TO calls for all Commercial and G&A workstreams - facilitating problem solving and effectively challenging where appropriate
- Own performance tracking of that portfolio using advanced WAVE analytics
- Provide clear insights into portfolio status, trends and predicted future performance
- Own CELT and board communications content for this portfolio
- Develop and facilitate workshops, ideation sessions etc.
with workstreams
- Work with Workstream Leaders to identify and advance new business opportunities
Launch excellence
- Facilitate and support excellence in product launch execution - facilitate clear line of sight of all activities related to launches across ConvaTec.
- Provide clear insight into project status, upcoming requirements and product scaling.
- Challenge the various part of the organization from R&D, marketing, operations etc on the launch platform thereby ensuring quality in launch execution
"Focus and Simplify" key deliverables:
- Use the Transformation to deliver on our Franchise and Corporate strategies
- Continuously enable the launch of new value-added initiatives and drive vitality in the Commercial and G&A Transformation portfolios
- Leverage best practices across the company to drive incremental value and a culture of execution excellence
About you:
- Proven full-time work experience or other demonstrated significant experience in Business, Process Improvement, Sales, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Communications, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, or related field
- College degree in related field
- Experience in working in project teams
- Strong interest in driving culture of "execution excellence"
- Clear understanding of launching a medical device
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and coaching skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Dynamic problem solver who is able to break down complex problems
- Executive presence
- Strong performer with "owner's" mindset; and bias to action
- Demonstrated track record of taking the initiative
- Ability to influence and manage stakeholders across the company
- Excellent analytical skills
- Passionate about innovating how we do the work
Desirable but not required:
- Working knowledge of CI toolkit desirable
- Strong and wide personal network within the business
- Computer literate including SAP, Excel, Report writing
- Prior experience in project management, branding, and driving global change initiatives
Travel Requirements
Expected to travel globally where required.
This is expected to be no more than 25% of the time.
