As the Training and Education Intern for the Acute Care and Monitoring Team , you will have the unique opportunity to work alongside the Principal Education Manager for Western Europe. You will play a key role in the planning and execution of both digital and in-person medical education events across Europe. Your contributions will directly support the knowledge and adoption of our innovative and growing portfolio.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Principal Education Manager to:
Support Event Planning: From selecting venues and organizing logistics to managing internal and external communications, professional printing, and on-site visits, you will be at the heart of our event preparations.
Coordinate Contracting and Speaker Organization: Work together with our speakers, reviewing their CVs and presentations to ensure the highest standards.
Manage Post-Event Activities: Gather and review feedback, handle communications, and issue certificates, ensuring each event leaves a lasting positive impact.
Maintain and Update the Key Opinion Leaders List: Collaborate with regional teams to update and follow up on our key opinion leaders.
Develop Event Metrics: Create comprehensive metrics plans to measure the success of our events and support continuous improvement.
Must Haves
Recently graduated with a minimum bachelor's degree (2023/2024) or pursuing a Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Fluent in English.
Based in Portugal or Italy with availability to travel.
Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to manage and lead multiple tasks.
Forward-thinking, adaptable, and thrives in dynamic environments.
Team-oriented and enthusiastic about the medical field.
Nice to Haves
Proficiency in a European language.
Internship/Program Details:
Start date: September.
Duration: 12 months (Portugal); 6 months with the possibility to extend (Italy).
Based in Italy or Portugal.
Working hours: 40 h/week with flexibility (exams and holiday periods).
Working model: remote with the possibility to come to the office; occasional travel.
