EN-VR-12 TRAIN MANAGER
Purpose of the Job:
Ensures the adequation between train preparation and availability to run during tests phases
Ensures proper EHS management during heavy rolling Stock testing
Train Manager's Responsibilities:
Representing the TVE on board the train, during validations and certification tests.
Preparing the test implementation (staffing, availability of tools and on-board spare parts, ...).
Checking the ability of the train and its environment to complete the test.
Giving instructions to the driver
Producing failure reports to the Tests Manager.
Producing the test book (test events chronology).
Operationally coordinating all the on-board actors
He is responsible for the safety of all people attending the tests
Managing the First Aid Box and knowing alert's channels in case of accident.
Making sure that test train set's configuration is properly managed
Requirements:
mandatory
Graduated from Technician or Engineering school (preferably in electrical/electronic)
experience in managing occupational safety issues
knowledge of english
good communication and synthesis skills
availability for medium-long term travel abroad
preferable
knowledge of railway
experience in tests on vehicle
