Traffic Management Specialist

You will serve as a TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Supply Management Department of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SIGONELLA.
Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees.
A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:Administering the movement of material, passengers, mail and household goods by ensuring strict compliance with traffic movement laws, regulations and policies;Developing, planning, evaluating, or advising on traffic management policies or programs;Implementing traffic management policies, procedures and methods for an organization;Providing assistance with Material Handling Equipment to ensure timely inventory, equipment condition, and budget reports.NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

The NATO Status of Forces Agreement prohibits employment in the U.S.
Civilian Component in a host nation of any person who holds dual citizenship of the U.S. and the host nation.

Civilian Component in Italy; however, that person is not prohibited by the NATO Status of Forces Agreement from employment in the U.S. civilian Component in another NATO host nation of which (s)he does not hold citizenship.
