Accountabilities:
Input Requirements Analysis to define the project Control Architecture and Detailed RequirementsPropulsion system and power converters modelling and simulation to support components sizing and topology choiceFunctions and algorithms development to satisfy technical specificationSoftware and Firmware libraries development and maintenanceHarmonics Emission evaluation and control actions implementation to be compliant with EMI requirementsPropulsion diagnostic and condition based maintenance (CBM) algorithms designProject Software documentation compliance with the applicable railway standards and DR participationHardware in the loop environment design (HIL)Software in the loop environment design (SIL)Control Testing and Validation in SIL and HIL environmentSystem validation in combined testSystem integration test and validation on boardCommissioning and service supportControl electronic and power converters routine test supportRequired Skills/Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of automation control theory and signals elaborationExcellent knowledge of the main programming languages (C / C ++, Python, Linux, Eclipse) and application on embedded system in real time contextPreferred experience in developing control algorithms on embedded system in real time contextPreferred experience in working in firmware development, microprocessors registers programming, peripherals drivers/interfaces handlingGood knowledge of Power converters topologies and electrical/Hybrid propulsion systemGood knowledge of control electronic and microprocessors architecturesGood knowledge of the main communication bus (CAN, Ethernet, MVB) and protocols (J1939, IPTCOM, TRDP, TCN)Good knowledge of MathWorks modeling tools (MATLAB & Simulink)Knowledge of VHDL language and ability to program FPGAKnowledge of Software Engineering (EN50128, EN 50657, IEEE1558)Knowledge of requirements management and dedicated tools (IBM Rational DOORS)Desired Skills/Knowledge: Focus on Innovation and DigitalizationGood Problem Solving capabilitiesGood written and spoken English LanguageGood Team working capabilitiesEducation / Qualifications:
