BREAK THE ICE! Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is seeking a meticulous and proactive Ticketing Sales & Collections Coordinator to join our team in preparation for the 2026 Winter Olympics. This role is critical for the financial and operational efficiency of ticketing operations, ensuring accurate and compliant financial management of all ticketing sales and collections.
Responsibilities: Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile ticket collections with invoices, ensuring proper matching and clearing for both B2B and B2C markets. Discrepancy Management: Identify, resolve, and document any discrepancies in ticket collections and invoices. Revenue Distribution: Share ticket collection quotas with designated beneficiaries. VAT & SIAE Compliance: Ensure compliance with Italian VAT and SIAE regulations for ticket sales. Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow and coordinate reimbursement processes with the ticket service provider. Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with the On Location partner, IOC, International Federations, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth ticketing processes and resolve any sales issues. Ticket Allotment Management: Adjust ticket allotments following race cancellations or postponements. Policy Support: Assist the Ticketing Functional Area (FA) in defining policies and procedures. Accounting Reconciliation: Support reconciliation of ticketing revenue with other income streams and handle additional accounting activities as required. Requirements: Financial Reconciliation Skills: Proven experience in reconciling invoices with collections, and familiarity with accounting standards for both B2B and B2C contexts. VAT & SIAE Knowledge: Strong understanding of Italian VAT and SIAE regulations, especially in ticketing. Attention to Detail: High accuracy and attention to detail to ensure error-free financial records and resolution of transaction discrepancies. Cash Management & Refund Experience: Experience managing cash flows and coordinating ticket reimbursements with service providers. Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills for effective liaison with various stakeholders, including ticket providers, On Location partners, the IOC, and International Federations. Analytical Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve financial discrepancies, with strong analytical skills specific to ticketing. Other information
