BREAK THE ICE! Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position: Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is looking for a Ticketing Operations Cluster Coordinator for the Valtellina area. This role is essential in supporting the Milano-based Ticketing Operations Manager in defining, preparing, and implementing the Games-time operations plan, including setting up Ticket/Resolution offices at various sports venues within the assigned mountain cluster.
Key Responsibilities Collaboration & Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication with the Ticketing Operations Core Team at MC26 headquarters, as well as with the Venue and Sport functional teams, to ensure a direct presence of ticketing operations within each cluster. Collaborate closely with local representatives, Ticketing Service Providers (Eventim/TicketOne), and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations both before and during the event. Protocol Implementation: Develop, implement, and enforce ticketing operations protocols, including policies, procedures, terms and conditions, contingency plans, and quality control actions. Operational Tracking: Monitor ticketing requirements for each venue, identifying any operational needs to ensure the smooth functioning of the cluster according to the Event Venue Management Operational Plan. Local Liaison: Act as the main point of contact within the cluster territories, supporting MC26 commercial, marketing, and ticket sales staff by facilitating introductions and organizing meetings during local events. Logistics & Budget Control: Ensure all ticketing-related logistics, venue setup, and operational activities are timely, within budget, and meet high-performance standards across all cluster venues. Games-Time Operations Oversight: Oversee ticketing operations during the Games, acting as the first point of contact for operational support and for resolving any issues that arise for ticket office staff within the cluster.
Requirements: Experience: Demonstrated experience managing ticketing operations for major sports events. Residency: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the assigned cluster area. Technical Skills: Proficiency with stadium ticketing systems, including e-ticket/mobile apps, flexible seat assignment management, IT Access Control Management, and MS Office tools. Team Leadership: Experience in organizing, training, and managing event staff with strong communication and delegation skills. Stakeholder Relations: Ability to establish and maintain open communication with key stakeholders, such as venue owners, local authorities, and sports clubs in the area. Personal Attributes: Diligence, adaptability, flexibility, and diplomatic skills in interactions with colleagues, stakeholders, and the public, with the ability to uphold company policies. Pressure Management: Ability to work effectively under pressure and quickly implement last-minute decisions. Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in operations management, marketing, sports administration, or a related field. Languages: Fluent in Italian and English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
