BREAK THE ICE! Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position: We are seeking a Ticketing Operations Cluster Coordinator to support the Ticketing Operations Manager in defining, preparing, and implementing the operational plan for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. This role involves managing the Ticket/Resolution Offices across various sports venues within the designated mountain area cluster, ensuring optimization of ticket flow control to maximize sales and achieve full venue attendance.
The selected candidate will establish and maintain effective and consistent communication with the Ticketing Core Team at the MC26 headquarters and with functional teams (Venue and Sport) within the assigned Cluster. This ensures that the Ticketing Operations area is represented across each Cluster and that all operations proceed smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities: Facilitate and maintain communication with the Ticketing Core Team and key collaborators, including local representatives and the Ticketing Service Provider (Eventim/TicketOne), to ensure smooth Cluster operations, both pre-Games and during Games Time. Develop, implement, and adhere to Ticketing Operations protocols, including policies, procedures, contingency plans, and quality assurance processes. Track and align the ticketing operational requirements of various venues within the Cluster with the overall Event Venue Management Operational Plan. Support commercial and marketing teams in promotional and ticket sales activities within the Cluster, including organizing meetings and presentations at local events. Ensure that all planned logistics and operational activities for ticketing are timely, within budget, and maintain a high standard of quality across Cluster venues. Oversee ticketing operations during the Games, serving as the primary point of reference for issue resolution and support to the TSP staff assigned to various Ticket Offices.
Requirements: Proven experience in operational management of ticketing for large-scale sports events. Proficiency with stadium ticketing systems, including e-tickets and mobile apps, seat allocation management, IT access control systems, and MS Office tools. Experience in organizing, training, and managing event staff with the ability to delegate while maintaining operational control over ticketing service providers. Excellent communication skills to facilitate and sustain continuous relationships with key collaborators, such as venue owners, local authorities, sports clubs, etc. Detail-oriented, flexible, and capable of working under pressure, with the ability to adapt quickly to changes and make last-minute decisions. Bachelor's degree in operations management, marketing, sports administration, or a related field. Fluent in Italian and English; knowledge of German is considered a plus.
